LeaderVision Training is Comprehensive and Enduring

Training is conducted in a brain compatible learning format which is tailored to accommodate the needs of the group as well as each individual in the group.

LeaderVision has two main trainers. Roger Deaner, Master Trainer of NLP, and Elise Barratt-Hassett, Mentor Trainer of NLP. Roger Deaner's design skills are key to the success of the training, while Elise's vitality and energy brings the design to life. They are frequently supported by a dynamic group of trainers who are integrated into training courses to offer different descriptions of NLP processes and to broaden the resource base available to students.

Roger Deaner

Roger Deaner is an experienced Master Trainer of the human behavioural science Neuro-Linguistic Programming [NLP] and an endorsed [level 3] trainer in the field of Spiral Dynamics-integral. Specialising in the teaching of NLP from first principles as well as its business and general applications, Roger conducts trainings in: Introduction to NLP; Practitioner of Essential NLP; Practitioner of NLP(Integrated); and Master Practitioner of NLP.  Since his semi retirement he no longer conducts Trainer of NLP courses, though he is able to recommend other schools. 

Roger is a certified Trainer Assessor and Master Trainer of NLP,  with a commitment to offering the highest quality of NLP training. He has studied NLP with Dr John Grinder, Richard Bandler, Marvin Oka, Wyat Woodsmall and Charlotte Bretto. He has also attended trainings with Steven Gilligan, Robert Dilts, Steve Andreas, Humberto Maturana and Dr Don Beck and Chris Cowan.

Double barrel value
Roger has a particular interest in teaching the combined disciplines of Neuro Linguistic Programming and Spiral Dynamics integral, which he does in his Master Practitioner of NLP course.

For the corporate market only, Roger uses his insightful combination of new code and classic code NLP, his detailed understanding of the work of Dr Clare Graves, Dr Don Beck, Chris Cowan and Ken Wilber, and the organisational model Spiral Dynamics-integral to design and conduct a range of courses for business.

A career of innovation and change implementation
Roger has spearheaded change all his working life. As a research chemist he piloted the use of new synthetic fibres in novel industrial, medical and apparel applications. His career as international trouble shooter and Divisional Managing Director for the multi-national corporate giant Courtaulds Ltd (best known by brand names such as Taubmans, Razza Matazz, Hilton and Jansen) involved implementing technological change to meet the demands of the mining and textile industries and organisational change through mergers and acquisitions with various divisions. His success was largely due to his skills as a negotiator and his ability to train leaders to succeed him in each division.

Leadership as a result of effective communication
His success both in his corporate career and today as a trainer and consultant is due to his skills as a negotiator and his ability to train leaders. His corporate career involved him in frequent dealings with upset and militant workforces intent upon achieving their social and political aims. More recently in his consulting to the mining and petrochemical industries he has been on call to dissolve disputes and to coach and advise negotiating teams who are handling Enterprise Bargaining Agreements (EBA). His model for EBA Negotiations is in frequent use.

Roger has an avid curiosity for newly researched communication technologies and incorporates these into his work. He offers a unique insight into the needs and drives of the corporate world advising business and community leaders. He maintains a current working knowledge of management practice, despite his recent resigneation from membership of the prestigous CEO Institute. A true master of the technology he teaches with distinguished business experience, Roger has moved to the rural town of Beechworth in NE Victoria. Here he continues his work in a more relaxed style, offering one fully integrated Practitoner of NLP in a program of courses each year and extending his mentoring services to executives, business owners, local community groups and individuals who seek his assistance.

Elise Barratt-Hassett - NLP Mentor Trainer

Elise Barratt-Hassett has developed her expertise in NLP over 26 years. She has trained in NLP with Roger Deaner, Marvin Oka, Wyatt Woodsmall, Stephanie Burns, Philipa Bond, Peter Dawson, and Vivienne Berry-Evans. She became an NLP Trainer at the young age of 21 and worked for LeaderVision as associate trainer from 1995-2003, returning in 2008 as equal co-trainer with Roger.

In between raising a young family, she developed skills in sport and fitness training [her interest in sport and fitness led her to complete training as a fitness trainer which she combined with NLP to run her own successful business]; health clinic management; hospitality office management; coaching; NLP counselling; and emotional management.

Developing the Self and Relationships.
With her training, years of experience, and her profound insight into human behaviour, she has become a deeply influential, powerful and charismatic trainer, specialising in helping others reach their full potential, and evolving all areas of their life, focusing on helping clients deal with past issues and detrimental emotional blocks, coping with the present as it really is and preparing themselves for a future that is designed by them for the life and the relationships they really want.

Apart from her work with LeaderVision, she conducts training; freelances in hospitality and health industries; consults and coaches with her own business, Evolving Mind™. 

Elise is an internationally certified Mentor Trainer of NLP (INLPTA), one of LeaderVision's two principal trainers, Intern Trainer of Spiral Dynamics-integral and a Trainer and Coach of her own Evolving Mind™ methodology. A busy mother of four active young children, Elise plays and coaches Tennis, breeds and raises free-range chickens and is the co-author of "Inspiration and Joy" for baby lovers and "The Perfect Relationship Training".
